Job Description
Job Summary:
Human Resources Records Assistant will provide support to the Human Resources Department with primary emphasis on the organization, maintenance, and digitization of Human Resources records.
Specific Duties:
- Organize and maintain electronic and hard copy personnel and I-9 files with the ultimate goal of digitizing all HR Department records
- Monitors and maintains various HR records, i.e., employee evaluation forms, license, degree and certification data, HR logs and files.
- Prepare personnel files for review by employees, supervisors and other authorized personnel as needed
- Serve as a backup receptionist, responding to general phone and in-person inquiries and referring more complicated issues to appropriate HR staff members, greeting visitors to the HR Office.
- Perform data entry, word processing, and spreadsheet tasks and develop simple reports from databases and systems when needed
- Participate with other HR staff in planning, developing and implementing personnel policies, systems, workflows, and procedures
Minimum Qualifications
1. Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline; or
2. High School Diploma or its educational equivalent and two (2) years of relevant experience in human resources, administration, labor relations, employee relations, learning and development, talent acquisition, customer service (providing information and resolving customer concerns), or a related administrative support function.
