Salary Range: $35.07/hr. plus an additional fringe benefit of $9.27/hr.

Position Summary

This position provides administrative and human resources support to executive staff within the FSE contract and HR department, while advising employee and management personnel on the interpretation of policies, programs, and procedures.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists department in carrying out various on-site human resources programs and procedures for employees
- Provides on-site support to HR department and Management personnel
- Assist with recruitment process, posting job ads on career pages, updating applicant flow logs, process resumes, conduct reference checks, and coordinate pre-employment screening
- Assist with new employee orientations, on-boarding and training programs
- Manage and update databases with different information such as hiring, warnings, terminations, and leave.
- Monitor employee probationary and performance review process
- Assists in payroll management, preparation and submission
- Prepare, manage and store paperwork for HR policies and procedures
- Answer employee questions and provide requested information
- Assists with annual compliance reports and logs
- Organize, compile, update personnel records and documentation
- Assists in organizational training and development efforts
- Create reports for senior management
- Daily clerical office duties such as answering phone calls, emails, filing, record keeping, copying, faxing, posting, ordering supplies and other similar duties
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Familiar with labor laws; familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the human resources field, general office functions and general payroll data entry
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills; analytical thinking and decision-making ability
- Detail oriented and a self-starter
- Willing to go above and beyond, dependable
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- General computer experience in cloud-based environments such as Box, Dropbox, Share file, Office 365
- Act as a reliable and supportive team member
- Ability to operate most standard office equipment
Education and Work Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least five (5) years experience in Human Resources Administration and Support in multiple areas (i.e., training, employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and organizational development)
Physical Job Requirements
- Works under general office environmental conditions
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel or crouch
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
