What we are looking for:

indiGO Auto Group’s corporate office, based out of our Porsche North Houston dealership, is seeking a full-time, in-office Human Resources Administrator to join our growing team. This is a wonderful entry-level opportunity to work with a cohesive and supportive team that is excited to train a new team member.

Here is what an ordinary day of work may look like:

  • Act as liaison between indiGO and parent company, Pon, to ensure smooth roll out of Pon initiatives
  • Coordinate team member training across the company with help from Generalists and Director of Training and Development
  • Audit and ensure compliance and organization within electronic personnel filing system
  • Support Generalists, Manager, and Director with ad hoc requests and projects
  • Provide innovative ideas to help streamline the HR department’s operations
  • Assist HR Manager and Director with coordination of benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, as well as retirement plan
  • Work with local management team to plan small events
  • Perform monthly personnel records audits
  • Facilitate company shirt and business card orders
  • Facilitate birthday and anniversary email scheduling for company
  • Maintain and improve safety training completion across all dealerships
  • Assemble new hire packages and ensure adequate supplies at each location
  • Audit and enforce compliance testing completion across the company
  • Assist management with screening job candidates, complete initial phone screens if needed
  • Provide innovative ideas to help streamline the HR department’s operations
  • Code HR-related bills
  • Maintain and improve HR employee portal

The opportunity is for you if you have:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Previous HR Internship or HR Administrator experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Open to learning and adapting to change.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
