JOB SUMMARY:

Our Human Resources Assistant is a wealth of information for our managers and associates. They are empathetic, charismatic, great at listening, and are excellent at follow up on questions and concerns. Provide administrative, recruitment, and technical assistance for the Human Resources Department in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Essential:

  • Monitor and assist managers/supervisors with hiring processes and issues.
  • Conduct applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, and social security number verification.
  • Ensure managers have filled out interview notes in Requisition file.
  • Maintain applicant flow, drug screen, orientation and transfer request logs.
  • Create and maintain new hire and personnel files and enter them into Human Resources Information Systems.
  • Assist with orientation of new employees. Train new hires on Human Resources processes, programs, policies, information systems, etc.
  • Help associates with changing their enterprise ID every 90 days.
  • Ensure that associate bulletin boards are current, interesting, and include safety info.
  • Ensure managers are completing their payroll, turning in the back up. Process Payroll.
  • Keep mandatory training records for audit purposes: Orientation, Service Excellence, TIPS
  • Serve as Human Resources subject matter expert and participate on project teams.
  • Helps organize rallies and associate events.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
