Requirements:

Summary:

Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative support to the Human Resources functions and will ensure efficiency & compliance. Other duties may apply.

All employees are responsible to follow all of Nutrition Corp. protocols of Food Safety.

  • this position requires the HR assistant to be fluent in Spanish. The HR assistant will be expected to translate during in person meetings among other tasks and assist employees that are Spanish-speaking only.

Essential Functions:

  • Upholds the HR Department with the highest level of confidentiality
  • Assists with the day-to-day operations of the HR Department
  • Strong written/ verbal communication amongst other departments.
  • Audit Paylocity and digital files with regards to current, new hires and terminated employee’s information on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Complete quarterly audits and generate correction. Properly destroys expired documents.
  • Upload paperwork in the HRIS and the employee’s electronic files
  • Process and file all Unemployment and Disability electronic files
  • Daily computer usage related to Microsoft outlook, word, excel, forms (Office 365)
  • Daily monitoring of Human Resources Director/ Manager Outlook Calendar organizing appointments and files.
  • Communicate Human Resources initiatives that support the company to grow
  • Receives and distributes in coming US Mail and Parcels to the addressee.
  • Works alongside manager regarding workers compensation claims and filings
  • Assist with onboarding, orientation, and new hire training in English and Spanish
  • Assist with translation for ER issues, employee concerns, terminations, and other duties
  • Assist with translating documents from English to Spanish.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of the job, the employee regularly stands and sits for a long period of time. The position requires use of hands, fingers, and ability to talk and hear. Use of company communication devices, laptop, desktop, software/ app-based platforms.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work may vary time to time based on business demand which include weekends or long hours.

Travel

Travel may be required at company expense.

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D/Equivalence
  • College course work preferred
  • Prior experience in Human Resources, Production and Manufacturing, clerical, Data Entry preferred
