Here’s What You’ll Get To Do
The Human Resource Assistant will work closely with the HR Manager to run the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including new hire orientation, administration of leave of absence, payroll overview, new hire enrollment, employee relations, regulatory compliance, and training.
- Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters
- Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures § Recommend strategies to motivate employees
- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates
- Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements
- Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs § Respond to human resources-related inquiries
- Assist with payroll processing
- Assist in creating and distributing internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies
- Administer new employee onboarding and orientation
- Monitor employee morale and company culture
- Maintain employee records

Education and Experience Requirements
- Associates degree or 3 to 5 years of experience in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of progressive human resources experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems § PHR or SPHR certification preferred
