Job Description


POSITION SUMMARY

Chromalloy is actively searching for a results driven professional eager for exposure to a complex manufacturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to grow and develop both within the Chromalloy Arizona (CAZ) facility and beyond through engagement in key HR initiatives across the globe.

The Chromalloy Arizona HR Coordinator role is an operational, hands-on role that provides full life cycle Human Resources support to the Chromalloy Arizona facility. The individual in this role is responsible for providing HR support to employees and first line leaders in the areas of Payroll, Recruiting/Hiring, Benefits, Employee Relations, Engagement, Training, Payroll Administration, Recruitment, Benefits Administration and Policy Compliance. This role reports to the site HR Business Partner.

Accountabilities

  • Provides day to day “hands on” transactional and operational HR support.
  • Handles all aspects of hourly and salary payroll processing and transmitting in ADP, e-time and Chromm in partnership with the Corporate Shared Services; Ensures on time payroll processing.
  • Sets up and processes all new hire paperwork, to include entering applicant and new hire information into the HR Information System (HRIS) and completing E-Verify and other pre-employment requirements.
  • Supports employees to initiate FMLA/STD. Tracks and reconciles leaves and reconciles Timekeeping and pay accordingly.
  • Coordinates open enrollment periods for employees, answers employee benefit questions, researches benefit issues, and resolves benefit concerns in partnership with the Corporate Shared Services Team.
  • Uses ADP, and other HR systems to perform a variety of activities and tasks across the site.
  • Supports Lean Manufacturing efforts with Global HR events and activities as well as other adminsitrative or manufacturing events.
  • Assists in maintaining and distributing current employee information, policy and procedure manuals, and other communication.
  • Conducts recruitment activities targeted to attract the industry’s best and brightest candidates; post openings, reviews applications and resumes, sets up interviews, prepares documents and conducts new employee onboarding. Ensures new hire understanding of the corporation’s benefit plans, Company policies and Company procedures.
  • Manages AAP reporting.
  • Maintains a strong shop floor presence; monitors the "pulse" of employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement; deploys Chromalloy’s recognition and engagement programs to increase employees' work experience.
  • Coordinates Wellness Events, Service Award Programs, Recognition lunches, etc.
  • Assists management on Compliance issues, training, coaching and counseling, terminations and document control.

Qualifications


EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • An Associate’s degree is required.
    • A Bachelor’s degree or certification in HR is preferred.
  • 1+ year providing HR administrative, HR systems and payroll support is required.
  • HRIS Systems knowledge; ADP and EV5 (required), HR Recruiting Databases (i.e. Smart Recruiter- preferred), HR work platforms and Epicor (preferred)
  • Payroll experience is required.
  • Manufacturing Experience is preferred.
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices including labor law compliance, EEO, AA, and benefits programs is required.
