Electrical Components International (ECI) is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Fargo, North Dakota. This is an on-site position.
Qualified candidates must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college/university
- 3-5+ years of experience in a similar role required
- Knowledge of ADP Payroll/Stratus Time
- Highly organized, accurate, and detail oriented, with the ability to maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality

About the Position:
We are currently seeking a talented individual for a Human Resources Generalist role at our Fargo, ND facility. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including, but not limited to, recruitment and selection, payroll, benefits and 401k administration, healthy and safety, training, and employee relations.
Duties Include:
- Provide full cycle recruiting and related onboarding activities.
- Manage the day-to-day administration of payroll processing, payroll reporting, and year end activities.
- Administer daily benefit/401k plans including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating information to employees.
- Ensure timely processing and data integrity of various human resources, payroll, and safety reports.
- Maintain the administration of HRIS system to ensure accuracy for reporting purposes.
- Administer the training program including conducting new employee training, identifying training gaps, and outsource training as required.
- Conducts Employee Performance Reviews, Salary Reviews.
- Maintain and Develop Job Descriptions.
- Conduct monthly safety committee meetings including recording and communicating minutes internally. Oversee/conduct training and communication to ensure a safe work environment. Ensure all company safety policies are adhered to and safe work habits are practised.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Maintain knowledge of and compliance with legislation and regulations affecting human resources functions.
- Organizes, tracks, maintains and improves HR records generation, administration and retention.
- Maintain good employee relations through such activities as resolving employee issues and investigating employee complaints and recommending appropriate resolution.
- Conduct ongoing communication to ensure employee engagement and morale.
- Coach supervisors and managers on appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Responsible to ensure all company policies and procedures are administered fairly and consistently.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of all information obtained, written or verbal.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college/university
- 3-5+ years of experience in a similar role required
- Knowledge of ADP Payroll/Stratus Time
- Highly organized, accurate, and detail oriented, with the ability to maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality
- Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to negotiate and/or mediate when required
- Must have critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Must be able to manage time and prioritize effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Spanish communication skills is an asset
