What you'll do:

  • Use expert in vivo technical skills to support our growing epigenetics portfolio by:
    • Developing and working with various in vivo models of cancer ranging from subcutaneous xenograft tumor models, orthotopic models, and PDX models
    • Conducting in vivo pharmacology studies (tolerability, PK/PD and efficacy) and delivering comprehensive in vivo pharmacology data packages to support both early and late stage drug discovery programs
    • Performing model development studies to generate relevant in vivo models that support the screening cascade for a pathway of interest
  • Demonstrate proficiency and flexibility in working with various computer programs and databases to capture all study data for broad access by project teams and stakeholders
  • Profile tissue samples to explore mechanisms of drug response and resistance using both traditional and novel approaches
  • Analyze data and present to appropriate stakeholders
  • May sit on project teams and maintain responsibility for in vivo pharmacology strategy for a particular target

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Essential Requirements:

  • BS with 5+ years’ experience, MS or PhD with 2+ years’ experience
  • Experience independently delivering aspects of in vivo pharmacology studies, including tolerability, PK/PD, model development, and efficacy studies
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze PD response in various tissues including (but not limited to) blood and tumor
  • Ability to harvest and prepare blood and tissues for various endpoints including processing for western blot analysis, PK, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry
  • Ability to work independently, within project teams, and across disciplines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
