The Industrial Planning team is responsible for the strategic supply planning of internal and external production, materials, gemstones, and diamonds. The Industrial Planning VIE will rotate within four Industrial Planning teams comprising of Internal and External Planning, Gemstone and Diamond Acquisition Planning, Stone Operations. This person will be responsible for short-term and long-term capacity planning with a focus on high jewelry.

Location: This position is in-person at our Corporate Headquarters in New York, NY.

Key Accountabilities

Internal Manufacturing Planning

Responsible for production and material planning activities to support the manufacturing of finished goods at all Tiffany & Co. internal manufacturing sites.

External Manufacturing & Global Planning & Analytics

• Develop and manage our Capacity utilization strategy between Internal Manufacturing and External supplier base to meet the Master Acquisition Plan, off-cycles, and New Product launches
• Reporting & Analytics related to capacity analysis and supply constraints
• Cross-Functional Collaboration with Suppliers and internal teams related to shipment timelines, priorities, etc.

Diamond and Gemstone Acquisition Planning

Responsible for planning diamonds and gemstones supply to support the needs of the business by:

• Reviewing demand to understand the changing needs of the business and how it impacts inventory
• Working with cross functional partners to understand new product launches and product development - stone needs, launch quantities
• Updating and reviewing the diamond pipeline based on our diamond manufacturing production and external purchases
• Develop an understanding of our inventory to identify constraints as well as excess product in order to make informed recommendations

Stone Operations

Responsible for the flow of stones through the grading supply chain, ultimately purchasing into Tiffany & Co. loose diamond inventory. The management of Tiffany loose diamond inventory and the associated distribution of such stones to the manufacturing network. There are 5 grading labs, 3 diamond and 2 gemstones.

VIE Program Requirements:

• Ages 18 - 28
• French or European Union citizen
• Be in good standing with regard to the national service obligations of your country(ies) (defence ID n°)
• Available to devote yourself full time to your assignment

Required Qualifications:

• Fluent in English
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

The hiring rate for this position is 3902,35 € per month as determined by the VIE program.
