Infection Preventionist Responsibilities:
- As an infection preventionist you will be responsible for the prevention of healthcare associated infections for your facility.
- You will apply the principles of infection prevention to the development of educational and training programs.
- You will train and test the nursing staff on infection prevention measures.
- You will participate in the development and implementation of an individualized patient care plan for the resident with allied health team members.
Infection Preventionist Qualifications:
- A valid and current Nursing license in the State of Illinois.
- A valid and current Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois preferred.
- Requires employee to have had no abuse records.
- One year experience as a wound care nurse and/or infection prevention, preferred.
