Kwik Trip’s Information Security and Compliance Department is seeking an Information Security Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring that Kwik Trip’s digital assets are protected from unauthorized access.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Conducting security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis
• Create and implement cybersecurity awareness campaigns to educate coworkers
• Generate reports for administrators and business managers to evaluate security posture of information systems
• Configure and maintain security systems
• Creating documentation and planning for all security-related information, including incident response and disaster recovery plan
• Identify and escalate potential security risks within the Information Security and Compliance department
• Assist in the creation, modification and maintenance of all security policies and procedures
• Analyze threat intel and assist in enhancing our detection capabilities

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a related field and at least one year of related experience.
• Ability to assess firewall, network, workstation and server logs.
• Have monitored perimeter security devices and have developed and implemented corporate security policies.
• Conduct research relating to latest security vulnerabilities.
• Experience working in a fast paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Successful candidates should possess and demonstrate the following:

• Understanding of security concepts and techniques, methods of intrusion detection and prevention, data encryption and security management tools.
• Knowledge of email filtering, Content filtering, end user devices, platform operating systems as well as technical knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Strong analytical skills to collect information from reports, records, or other available sources, and interpret this data in order to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Skill in reading and interpreting logging information obtained from firewalls, routers, servers, IIS and other various security-based tools.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with others.
• Ability to multitask and perform work in an organized, timely manner while working independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• High level of analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to conduct research into security issues and products as required.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours with rotating on call responsibilities in a bi-weekly rotation cycle. Weekend and non-business hours work may be required as needed.
