Hours: M-F 8AM-5PM (some nights and weekends may be required)
  • This position will be REMOTE; however, there may be occasions where travel to the Corvallis Main Office or other locations may be required

Position Description
As an Information Technology Officer you will work closely with the IT Department Staff and the IT Manager. The Information Technology Officer will be primarily responsible for new PCs and Desk/Mobile Phone deployment. The Information Technology Officer will assist with new user setup and configuration. The Information Technology Officer will act as the primary contact point for providing technical support for internal customers (i.e., Branches/Departments). When necessary, the Information Technology Officer will work closely with other department staff to implement new products. The Information Technology Officer will assist in the creation, updating and reviewing of policies, procedures and other documents as assigned relating to the IT area. Information Technology Officer will act as a coordinator within the IT Department to ensure proper follow-up and completion of various deliverables.

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Primary contact point for providing technical support to internal customers
  • New User Setup/Onboarding
  • New PC/Phone Deployment
  • Assist/or lead new product implementation within the IT area
  • Identify needed resources for projects and assist in defining and assign project roles within the IT area.
  • Ensure IT projects are completed on schedule
  • Assist with resolving security vulnerabilities
  • Assist in the installation and configuration of Software and Hardware (i.e., Computers, Desk/Mobile Phones and Printers)
  • Assisting in researching and providing recommendations in the development of technical systems and products
  • Ensure security through system access controls and general security monitoring.
  • Assist in replacing and upgrading defective or outdated components when necessary
  • Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
  • Assist with the upgrading various IT applications

  • Build, develop, and maintain partnerships with teammates and other departments to maximize effectiveness and to best serve our customers.
  • Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and other banking regulations.
  • Help maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Maintain the safety, integrity, and confidentiality of customer information.
  • Model the Citizens Bank Corporate Culture in all aspects of interactions and work.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Responsible for completing all training courses assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • 3 – 4 years of related experience within the IT field.
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge with IT Systems
  • Experience operating Windows based PC
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Ability to regularly kneel, reach, bend, push, pull, carry up to 50 pounds.
