Infusion Nurse - Per Diem Oxnard, CA
Position Responsibilities Summary:
The Infusion Nurse reports to the Director of Nursing and is responsible for providing home health clinical services. The Infusion nurse is responsible for quality, adequacy of services provided and may, where required, supervise staff. The Infusion Nurse is responsible for ensuring that care is delivered appropriately and the standards of quality are adhered to.
The Infusion Nurse is responsible for working with other medical disciplines (i.e., PT, OT, ST, Dictation) to ensure coordinated services and that all of the client’s needs are identified through the assessment process and addressed through the implementation of the Plan of Care and reevaluation and supervisory process.
Key Leadership, Management, and Accountabilities (LMA):
Prepares clinical progress notes and summaries of care. Informs the Director of Nursing, physician, and other personnel of changes in the client’s condition.

Qualifications:
* Registered nurse with current unencumbered licensure to practice professional nursing in the state in which the care is being provided.
* Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
* Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience
* Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills
* Comply with accepted professional standards of practice.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Analytic/Critical thinker.
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully with clients, staff and community.
* Treat clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public image.
* Case management skills are a plus
* Ability to work on weekends, nights and holidays
* Reliable transportation
* Understands regulatory compliance
* Federal regulations including but not limited to OSHA,HIPAA
Personal Protective Equipment:
May include gloves, mask, eye/face protection, and disposable outer covering or lab coat.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the ability of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Visual and hearing acuity required.
Travel Requirements:
* Limited travel as needed for various staff and client care service needs.
* Up to 10% or as directed based on the needs of the business and attending job required training and conferences.
Environment:
Contact with clients under a wide variety of circumstances. Care provided in client’s living environment with varying situations or in an institution such as a hospital. May be required to respond to emergency situations. Position includes tasks that have the potential for exposure to blood and other potentially infectious material (OPIM) such as body fluids/tissues.
Office Environment:
High-paced office/branch environment; continuous phone use/ringing; talking; various noise levels; interactions with employees and clients; sitting and standing for long periods of time; using a computer for extended periods: typing, staring at a bright monitor or TV screen; using fingers, wrists, and arms; stress on back may occur; possible exposure to prescription drugs, bodily fluids, small appliances for cooking, cooling, and heating foods or securely storing medications.'
Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
