That’s why it is important to have hands-on industry experience to be successful. You must be able to understand the buyer’s needs and choices and deliver the best solution.
It's a Sales role. As Account Manager, you will be responsible for meeting sales goals while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction (yes, we track both). You will report to the Sales Manager and work with fellow Account Managers, marketing and customer service team members. Compensation is a draw against commissions with quarterly and annual bonus opportunities. Successful Account Managers earn over six-figures annually, and there is no cap on compensation. The more your make, the happier we are.
3 primary tasks: Serve existing accounts, find new accounts, work with the team.
You will start with a list of existing accounts that have purchased from the company and are expected to have needs in the future. You will also be provided with qualified leads every week – we have a very active and capable market team. You’ll need to work closely with marketing to target prospect accounts with custom email and social media messaging to generate interest and incoming inquires. From there, you will establish a relationship by providing solutions to your existing accounts and your new accounts. Over time and with hard work, your earnings can continually increase and there is no cap on what you can earn.
The job requires that you are in the office at least twice a week, so we are looking for Southern California candidates only.
Markets: Our markets include construction, aviation, maritime, greenhouse, agriculture, oil and gas, industrial, manufacturing and much more.
Fortune 500 Customers Include: General Dynamics, Nassco, Boeing, Home Depot, Grainger, Fastenal, Wesco and Fluor among others.
Key Roles and Accountability:
∙ Respond to needs from End Users, Contractors and Distributors
∙ Meet assigned sales goals through outbound and inbound efforts
∙ Increase repeat buying from your customer base
∙ Work within company policies, processes and systems
∙ Build trust with all (win-win)
Work personal sales plan strategies
Duties
∙ Actively seeks and identifies leads using the internet, referrals, industry articles, lead services, associations, etc.
∙ Maintains a relationship and contact with all customers by email and phone.
∙ Respond quickly to inbound inquiries.
∙ Performs outbound sales activities including post-sales customer follow-up, promotional campaigns to customers, prospects and leads.
∙ Negotiate and close sales using a consultative approach.
∙ Builds strong relationships, nurture and grow your existing customer base.
∙ Maintain lead and customer data/records including updating all activities, contacts, and correspondence within the Zoho CRM system.
∙ Proactively stays on top of changes in industries and products
∙ Actively participate in sales and team meetings
∙ Coordinate with marketing and other department needs in support of sales.
Desired Skills and Experience
∙ Construction or Agriculture industry experience required
∙ Prefer sales experience but will consider motivated candidates with strong industry experience
∙ Experience using Linked In, Email and Social Media for prospecting new clients
∙ Skilled at both online and telephone sales/customer service
∙ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and negotiating skills
∙ Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products and a CRM
