Job Summary
Service and Installation Technician

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Construction and installation of all types of signs.
• Service and maintain all trucks, as well as all installation equipment on a regular basis.
• Keep truck properly stocked with the correct materials and equipment for normal maintenance, construction, and service of signs.
• Will replace lamps, sockets, ballasts, transformers, neon units, wiring, ect. in electric signs in the field.
• Carry out instructions from supervisor and complete project on time

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools to install signs.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes on jobsite.
• Welding and electrical skills, or the ability to learn.

Education/Experience:

• Valid driver’s license required.
• OSHA certified preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing, bending, or climbing ladders.
• Must be comfortable with working at heights up to 40 feet.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds at a time.
