Insurance Customer Service Job at Murray Insurance Agency
Some Duties:
- Learning and understanding company insurance products.
- Answering calls and responding to customer complaints.
- Accessing customer accounts and policy schedules.
- Providing customers with detailed information about policies and products.
- Recommending available products.
- Forwarding customers to sales agents when a policy needs to be initiated or upgraded.
- Typing up complaint reports.
- Managing the customer complaint database.
- Screen calls, arranges appointments and referrals.
- Prepares new records, re-files, and maintains records.
- And other duties.
Qualification:
- Previous insurance customer service experience or background in insurance services
- Ability to comprehend established office routines and policies.
- Learns quickly from oral and written instructions.
- Ability to keep insurance records and performs mathematical tasks.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of database software.
- Understand the ethics of confidentiality.
- Good organization skills.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.90 - $11.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bingham Farms, MI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
