What is an International Program Associate?
Responsible for supporting contracted foreign-educated healthcare professionals in submitting all required immigration documents for visa filing as well as coaching candidates in obtaining English language requirements and licensure requirements to work for PassportUSA’s client facilities in the USA.
What can I expect in this role?
A. Build/maintain relevant relationships and accountability to candidates

  • Help candidates build a timeline to submit documents, complete required exams and hold them accountable to execute the determined plan
  • Follow-up on required or missing documents in a timely manner via phone calls, text messaging, emails, and/or other social media platforms
  • Maintain relationships with healthcare professionals while assisting them through the visa filing process
  • Assist the Marketing department to develop promotional material to aid in motivating candidates to move quickly and efficiently through the immigration process

B. Immigration Document Collection

  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the immigration process
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of each of PassportUSA’s candidate programs as well as the contracts associated with each program
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of PassportUSA’s required documents and credentials for each foreign-educated candidate to start working as a US Healthcare Professional
  • Support, guide, coach and hold accountable healthcare professionals for submitting required documents through visa filing
  • Collect initial PassportUSA Visa filing documents according to candidate’s profession and program
  • Manages candidate files and maintains tasks and priorities around obtaining said immigration documents

C. Coaching for IELTS

  • Maintain an expert-level knowledge of IELTS and IELTS requirements to field candidate questions as well as set expectations for PassportUSA’s IELTS study program and exam
  • Recommend relevant study materials per manager and/or IELTS Program Manager
  • Determine and follow up on candidate’s study timelines and hold candidates accountable for meeting study deadlines
  • Schedule candidates for predictive assessments, review with candidates, and provide remediation study tools per manager and/or IELTS Program Manager’s guidance
  • Be highly involved with helping set timeline for taking IELTS exam and assisting candidates to determine when to schedule IELTS
  • Assist candidate with scheduling IELTS exam
  • Assigned to a candidate until they pass IELTS

D. Coaching for NCLEX

  • Maintain expert knowledge of PassportUSA’s NCLEX study program
  • Coaches and supports candidate through NCLEX test process (Works with NCLEX program manager, who assists with determining study plan and coaching)
  • Determine and set expectations for NCLEX aptitude assessments and follow up with remediation study plans
  • Determine a candidate’s scheduled dates for tests and follow up to ensure tests were completed
  • Recommend relevant study materials as well as remediation materials guidance per NCLEX Program Manager and/or Manager
  • Determine and follow up on candidate’s study timelines and hold candidates accountable for meeting deadlines

E. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedWho is the right person for this role?

  • 4 year degree and/or possess relevant experience
  • Strong proficiency in technology skills, including Microsoft Office
  • 2+ years of previous healthcare staffing or related experience is preferred
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work well and effectively with others
  • Must have excellent phone and communication skills
  • Must possess strong process orientation
  • Must be energetic, highly motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be organized and able to efficiently handle multiple tasks
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work well and effectively with others
  • Must be assertive and have the ability to set clear, verbal, and written expectations
  • Must have excellent phone and communication skills
