Our engineering program management group drives program/project development activities and discussions with an exceptionally diverse collection of personalities and ideas. As an iPhone HW EPM you will drive a cross-functional team of skilled Electrical and Mechanical engineers, and will use your solid EE/CE/ME background to recognize, assess and communicate cross-functional issues and risks. This will include planning, release and delivery of HW sub-systems like flexible printed circuit boards, development boards or printed circuit boards that are an integral part of iPhone system product development. Key Qualifications
- Minimum 4-5 years of industry experience.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical background in either EE or ME. Mechatronics background is a plus
- Detail oriented, inquisitive, seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways, focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers
- Program/Project management experience is a plus
- Experience with portable consumer electronics devices is a plus
- Experienced in setting up program/project schedules and work breakdown structures.
- Ability to travel internationally to support builds
Description
Lead multi-functional development teams for various system HW sub-systems Flex-PCBAs, PCBAs, development boards Manage and track engineering development schedules and budgets Identify and prioritize project tasks and risks Drive deliveries and issues with global suppliers, integrate their work and schedules into the project, communicate status and the big picture to the project team & management Synchronize the project with the Apple development process. We are looking for a highly motivated HW EPM empowered to drive the day-to-day activities to meet the overall project objectives focusing on engineering design, development planning and validate well-defined process but may be expected to operate in a loosely structured environment and able to manage ambiguity.
Education & Experience
• BS EE/CE/ME degree required, MS desired

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,000 and $230,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
