Our Information Technology team in Houston has a need for a IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager to join their team. In this role, you will provide leadership to the infrastructure team in the areas of technology standards and infrastructure lifecycle management, service delivery, and IT Project Management ensuring that services delivered are effective and efficient in meeting business requirements.

• Oversee end user support and IT operations/infrastructure environments, project delivery and maintenance in a multi-site civil engineering, surveying, and construction management environment
• Drive initiatives to define processes, standards and methodologies for IT such as project management, change management, Incident Management, Asset Management, etc. Continually evaluating performance of IT controls and discipline for all enterprise systems
• Creation, administration, and continual improvement of disaster plans that will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis
• Develop multi-year Roadmap to prepare for EOL, lifecycle changes, and architectural improvements across the infrastructure.
• Support IT budget management including review and approval of vendor invoices while ensuring IT does not exceed approved budgets

• Deep technical expertise in networking concepts (SD-WAN, UCaaS), server infrastructure, client systems, and enterprise architecture. Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Domain Controllers, SCCM, and O365; firewall and switch configuration.
• Experience with enterprise class servers (HP), shared storage systems (NAS/SAN/vSAN), virtualized and hyperconverged infrastructures.
• Experience with VMware/V-Center, Citrix, multi-cloud in high compute environments
• Experience with modern ITSM tools such as Servicenow, Zendesk, KACE, etc.
• Experience with Cisco networking equipment (switches, firewalls, VPN, IOS, protocols).
• Documented experience with infrastructure security concepts; multi-factor authentication, layered network security, DMZs, IPS, zero-trust, encryption, PAM and security frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of ITIL (prefer certification) and ITSM principles, as well as Service Delivery Frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience building and improving lean support organizations, aligned to support a maturing business organization undergoing aggressive growth
• Bachelor's Degree in business or IT or equivalent in education and experience
• 5+ years’ experience in leadership experience
• Comprehensive understanding of network architecture, Engineering
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to shifting priorities
• Experience in AEC industry preferred, but not required
• Demonstrated experience providing oversight for multiple, concurrent projects and successfully balancing continually shifting priorities
