Janitor

Part-Time: Wednesday & Friday Evenings

Pay: $14-$16 an hour

Job Summary: Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine cleaning/janitorial duties for Go Fast Manufacturing and Shiocton Cut Stock facilities; ensures that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collection and disposal of garbage and recycling.
• Vacuuming of carpets and rugs in offices, breakrooms, and public areas.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms.
• Dusting and cleaning of work surfaces.
• Wash windows.
• Clean breakrooms, including appliances and countertops.
• Clean and dust furniture, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, ceiling fans and all other horizontal surfaces including periodic high dusting.
• Ensure all lights are on/off and appropriate doors are locked when leaving an area.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Attention to detail
• Ability to learn or develop efficient work processes
• Self-motivated, work with minimal supervision

Education and Experience:

• Reliable transportation to ensure consistent dependability required
• Must have and maintain a valid State of Wisconsin Driver’s License (2 work locations)

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position listed above including the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, walking, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Wednesdays and Fridays. Compensation is $14.00 - $16.00/hour.
