DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Employment and Schedule: Fulltime Hourly Non-Exempt (may include overtime on evenings, Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) 3rd Shift, 5 days - 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM. The Janitorial employee is responsible for a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks that have a significant effect on safety, production, and quality.Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity. Employees must adhere to all safety and personal protective equipment policies. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Wabash requires reference/background, and criminal and drug screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Requires minimum of eight hours standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body mechanics/movements.
• Regularly required to lift and carry up to 35 (thirty-five) pounds. Frequently required to lift and carry up to fifty-five (55) pounds. Occasionally required to lift and carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
