Journeymen Electricians will work with our other Journeymen Electricians, our in-house Electrical Engineer, and Project Managers to perform the following tasks:

· Install PVC, EMT, and GRC conduit.

· Install power wiring, control wiring, fire alarm wiring, and communications wiring in conduit.

· Install low voltage wiring (communications and fire alarm) in free air.

· Install power distribution equipment including breaker panels, transformers, disconnects, meter sockets, etc.

· Install light fixtures and lighting controls.

· Install fire alarm panels, detection devices, and notification devices.

· Install motor wiring and motor controls.

· Plan, organize, and lead crews in the installation of various projects.

· Plan for and order project materials.

· Guide, direct, and coach Apprentice Electricians to help with their development.

· Work closely with Progressive Project Managers to ensure that all projects are completed on schedule and on budget.

· Establish and maintain positive relationship with all customers.

· Follow company policies and procedures and ensure that others on the crew do the same.

Work Location

All work will be in Lincoln, NE, or within daily driving range of Lincoln. There are no nights spent out of town.

Qualifications

· Good mechanical aptitude.

· Construction experience.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Able to follow direction and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Self-starter with strong work ethic.

· Able to work well in a team environment.

· Commercial/Industrial experience preferred.

· Experience with construction equipment such as trenchers, excavators, skid steers, scissor lifts, boom lifts etc. preferred.

· Must have valid driver’s license.

· Must be fluent in English.

· Must have valid Nebraska Journeyman’s License.

· Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
