Key Holder/Retail Sales Associate Job at Gretchen's Hallmark
Gretchen's Hallmark is a family owned and operated business based in Jacksonville, FL with 23 stores in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina! We are looking for a result-driven Retail Sales Keyholder at our Volusia Mall location in Daytona Beach, Fl.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers to the store and answer their questions
- Actively seek out customers in-store and build friendly rapport with them to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Keep up to date on products offered and discuss available options
- Follow and achieve store's sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
- Maintain in-stock and presentable conditions on sales floor by adhering to inventory control procedures
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases and returns
- Effectively open and close the computer systems for the day.
- Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
Skills
- Proficiency in English
- Basic Math skills
- Hands-on experience with POS transactions
- Familiarity with inventory procedures
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
- Availability to work flexible shifts
- 1 to 2 years experience as Retail Keyholder preferred
- High school diploma; BS degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus
