The SALT Smokehouse is a family-owned group of hospitality brands rapidly expanding in the Tampa Bay area. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable dishwasher to join our team. As a dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely and thorough cleaning of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to support efficient operations and uphold our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher responsibilities vary depending on the tasks you are assigned to, but roles could include:

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Load and unload dishwashing machines with efficiency and care.
• Hand wash delicate items as needed.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth flow of dishwashing operations.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.

Position requirements:

• Previous experience as a dishwasher is preferred but not required.
• Reliable personal transportation
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods (up to 4 hours), and lift up to 50 lbs. without difficulty.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures is a plus.
