Who we are looking for:
Atkore, a recent recipient of a Great Place to Work© certification, is currently searching for a general labor employee to be based out of Harvey, IL, located approximately 30 miles south of Downtown Chicago. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this person will be responsible for general labor work including stacking and bundling product, clearing scrap and cleaning work areas.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.
What you’ll do:
- Stack and bundle product.
- Clear scrap.
- Clean work areas.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in industrial manufacturing
- Strong sense of time organization and sense of urgency, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Operation of a handheld scanner and utilization of a variety of printed work instructions as part of daily work assignment
- Ability to pass the post offer employment process with drug screen
