Description
The Laboratory Assistant performs a variety of laboratory duties within the assigned department, in order to provide appropriate service levels to both internal and external customers.The Laboratory Assistant I will be proficient in one of the following, the Laboratory Assistant II will be proficient in two of the following, and a Laboratory Assistant III will be proficient in all of the following:- Laboratory Customer Service
- Phlebotomy
- Specimen Processing
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Experience in a Healthcare/Customer Service Environment or similar setting preferred
