Laboratory Technician

National Spine and Pain Centers, located in Irving, TX, seeks a skilled individual for the position of Analytical Laboratory Technician.

This is a full-time day shift position which provides clinical testing services to medical providers. Clinical tests include analytical, qualitative and quantitative analyses of urine for prescription medications and drugs of abuse utilizing Immunoassay analyzer and/or LCMS. The Laboratory Technician will primarily be responsible for sample reception, qualitative analyses, and preparation of patient samples for LCMS by following standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum of Bachelors’ degree in laboratory science or related field, required.
• Hands-on experience with a variety of laboratory techniques including automated immunoassay instrument, accurate pipetting skills, solvents/buffers mixtures preparation, required.
• Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbal, required.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office), required.
• Must exhibit sufficient manual dexterity and physical mobility; possess visual acuity to complete necessary functions, and be able to lift/carry up to 25 pounds, required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving, criminal, employment reference, education, and social security.
