Our client is looking for fun and energetic full-time Lead and Assistant Toddler Teachers to join their brand new preschool in Stamford, CT. Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, effectively and professionally with school personnel, children, and parents.
• Ability to create and/or follow lesson plans using format preferred by school administration.
• Ability to understand and support the education program using “learning through play” philosophy.
• Ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times.
• Ability to change children’s diapers and/or assist with toileting (where necessary).
• Ability to lift items/children ~50 pounds.
• Ability to multitask in a lively environment and work well within a team.
• Ability to handle crisis situations, including assisting in evacuating the building during emergencies.

Qualifications - Leads:

• REQUIRED: At least 18-years-old with either a high school diploma or GED
• REQUIRED: At least two-years of Infant and/or Toddler experience in a licensed early education facility
• A desire to grow professionally
• Meet background check eligibility

Qualifications - Assistants:

• REQUIRED: At least 18-years-old with either a high school diploma or GED
• REQUIRED: At least one-year of Infant and/or Toddler experience in a licensed early education facility
• A desire to grow professionally
• Meet background check eligibility

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
