Do you have 5+ years of experience in the audio-visual industry with an active TS/SCI clearance? Then we have a great short-term opportunity for you to work as a Lead Audio-Visual Technician to leverage your technical experience and skills to guide the installation of secure audio-visual and IT systems at Dyess Air Force Base in Taylor County, Texas.

As a Lead Audio-Visual Technician, you will:

Week in the life of a Lead Audio-Visual Technician:

  • Provide audio-visual and photographic support.
  • Set up, operate, maintain and repair equipment used to enhance live events.
  • Record meetings and presentations with video cameras.
  • Operate spotlights, adjust amplifiers, coordinate graphics used in displays and provide technical support for teleconferences, webinars and distance-learning classes.
  • Perform routine maintenance of audio-visual equipment.
  • Assist in editing tapes, incorporating graphic enhancements, videotaping and photographing events.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The hourly range for this position is $15.50 - TBD. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Job Requirements
  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
  • 5+ years’ experience in audio-visual industry
  • Must have experience using hand tools of the AV and electronic related trades:
    • This includes but is not limited to, soldering tools/techniques, construction equipment such as scaffolding, hoists, pulleys, (concrete, brick & block) attachment devices, Unistrut steel support, etc.
  • InfoComm Essentials of AV & CTS
  • Microsoft Project experience
