Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a company that specializes in custom-engineered climate systems for off-highway vehicles and machinery in its search for a Lead Buyer. Our York, PA client develops customized high-performance HVAC systems for vehicles and machinery in construction, agriculture, forestry, mining, material handling, and utility vehicle industries. This is a Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.– 4:30 p.m. direct-hire opportunity offering a hybrid schedule, working from home 1-2 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Entry of Purchase Orders
• Expedite parts and purchase orders as required to meet the production schedule.
• Issue all sample and PPAP orders with proper approvals.
• Provide annual forecasts to suppliers.
• Assign and maintain buyer codes in internal systems.
• Lead inventory reduction efforts.
• Manage raw material and in-transit inventories, maintaining inventory levels within established budgets.
• Set and maintain stocking level requirements in internal systems.
• Reconcile negative inventory balances, issues with in-transits, invoice issues, and obsolescence related transactions.
• Help resolve ERP and Packing Slip/Receipt issues.
• Provide notification of all price changes on the Cost Approval Form and send to the assigned Purchasing Agent for review and approval.
• Provide Purchasing Agent each month with supplier late order reports.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma.
• 1-3 years of Buyer experience and any prior supervisor experience is seen as a plus.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
• Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO).
