Lead Advisor Level 1

The Lead Advisor Level 1 with DBJ Wealth Management will support our team to deliver financial security to clients through maintaining existing client relationships. The Lead Advisor may be responsible for formulating and implementing advice but may also rely on technical specialists to develop recommendations within an individual’s area of expertise.

Specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

Relationship Management

· Build trusting and lasting relationships with a group of our current clientele to continue their engagement with DBJ Wealth Management.

· Identify opportunities with this client base to continue to progress their planning through different life stages and provide suitable solutions.

· Understand and align your financial planning philosophy with our DBJ Wealth Management team.

o Protect, Optimize, Grow

· Record detailed case notes regarding your conversations with clients for our team to process as well as supervisory review.

Client Experience
· Provide an elevated level of service to your client group by integrating their planning with our technology.

· Help clients aggregate outside accounts to have a full picture of their assets/liabilities, ultimately allowing you to provide a better long-term outlook.

· Meet the expectations of clients by having excellent follow-up skills building rapport.

· Be effective in a variety of formal presentation settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, with peers, direct reports, management.

Business Development

· Willingness to take ownership in a project and work with our team to develop the strategy/implementation.

· Dedicated to meeting targets on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

· Involvement in Clientwise with our team to identify areas for improvement as we continue to grow.

Prospecting

· Generate new client opportunities through calls, door knocks and networking events.

· Create, document and drive execution of a referral process specifically geared toward our ideal clients.

· Develop a prospective client list with advisor team to attract to our firm.

QUalifcations

· Series 6 (or series 7 for certain products) and series 63 required

· Health and Life licensed or gain licensing within 6 months of employment

· Willingness to learn by acquiring designations: CLU, ChFC, CLTC, CFP, etc.

· Financial Service or Insurance industry experience preferred

· Completion of home office Signature advisory training for financial advisors

· One to two years securities experience required

· Industry experience with investment advice preferred

· Familiarity with Microsoft applications and data entry and information retrieval software

· Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Able to practice active listening and communicate in a direct manner

· Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

· Ability to manage multiple diverse projects and assignments in a timely and quality manner

· Ability to embrace change and work in a fast-paced environment

· Able to work both independently and on a team

· Ability to maintain confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
