PURPOSE OF POSITION: To organize and lead the summer paint crew, create painting project lists, inventory and procure all painting supplies and equipment as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of painting skills including but not limited to; preparing, masking and sanding area to be painted, and selecting proper product to provide a long lasting and quality result
- Display excellent communication skills within the department as well as with other divisions and departments around the resort
- Ability to provide leadership and supervision to paint crew as well as set expectations and provide accountability
- Provide training to paint staff as needed
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize painting crew, including hiring and training of staff
- Manage the work process, assign work projects to department staff and provide follow up and technical assistance as needed
- On a daily basis, provide presence, leadership and supervision to department staff as well as set expectations and provide accountability
- Contact department Manager or Assistant Manager when personnel problems arise
UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS:
- Shirts and pants provided and cleaned by the company
- Cold weather outer wear provided and cleaned by the company
- Personal clothing: boots, goggles, etc. provided by employee
