The Learning Experience Director will lead the planning and execution of enterprise Learning & Development strategy. Evolving and re-vamping high quality learning experiences on an ongoing basis to support core competencies/skills/behaviors necessary for employees & people leaders to drive strategic objectives forward.

The director will partner with enterprise and HR leaders to help align learning strategy and tactics to support employees across their life cycle. Assuring the organization stays abreast of learning science and proactively innovate with new approaches and modalities to simultaneously create better employee experiences while achieving stronger business results. Ultimately, building a culture where lifelong learning is promoted and supported.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the strategy and oversight of learning consultation, design, development, curation, implementation and facilitation within Enterprise Learning & Development function. Serves as the single point of contact for the team and is accountable for work thereof. Core responsibilities include:

Develop, plan and execute on the organization’s overall Learning & Development (L&D) strategy for the enterprise with emphasis on leadership development, DE&I, Talent and Career Management. Introduces new and maintains existing L&D experiences on an ongoing basis to support changing strategic objectives.
Reimagines the enterprise portfolio of learning to meet the needs of the modern learner. Ensures that all learning products are relevant, accessible, scalable, individualized and designed in accordance with science based methods.
Cultivates strategic partnerships with HR and Business leaders across the enterprise in order to ensure that learning content is aligned and ready to meet emerging business needs.
Builds relationships with third-party resources, vendors and partners to roll out innovative and experiential learning models. Maintain ongoing familiarity with best practices, innovations and networks with key external learning leaders to stay on the cutting edge of the Learning and Development.
Inspires internal organization and learning professionals across the enterprise to drive learning innovation Leverages data and insights to anticipate emerging talent and skill needs.
Ensure all new employees and leaders are on boarded effectively and quickly to accelerate their assimilation and minimize time to productivity.
Provide hands-on coaching and guidance to leaders as a recognized L&D Subject Matter Expert (SME) .
Optimize the learning ecosystem and leverage data & analytics to drive continual operational efficiency within organization to reduce cycle time, improve quality measures and reduce costs.
Lead a team of learning professionals including program managers, instructional designers, facilitators, and learning specialists responsible for the learning ecosystems, governance, and measurement. Creating customized development plans to support team’s career mobility.

Qualifications :
10+ years of experience in a progressive learning and development or corporate training departments in a variety of L&D roles (Leadership, ISD, facilitator, program leader, and learning technologies) or 8 – 10 years of experience when combined with a master’s degree in human resources, training & development, organizational development, or a related field.
A thought leader in the learning & development field with proven experience leveraging industry trends, emerging and leading edge practices and technologies; pragmatic, understands what will work at scale.
Demonstrated performance in learning & development strategy, design and implementation; successfully led and delivered large scale learning solutions within organizations that have contributed to culture shift.
Superior ability to diagnose; using data and insight to drive tangible and impactful plans.
Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, strong teaming orientation, and high adaptability; comfortable presenting to large and senior audiences.
Strong influencing and consulting skills; ability to influence and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders and work with business leadership teams in a highly matrixed organization with executive presence and credibility.
Outcomes driven mindset; starts with the end in mind; results and metrics oriented.
Disruptor spirit and external orientation – bringing fresh and innovative ideas to the table.
Effective balance in ability to build strategy and execute.

Executive coaching experience is preferable
Ability to travel an estimated 20 % to team meetings, clients, workshops, etc.
