Legacy Varin is seeking a motivated, responsible, and organized
Leasing Specialist for a residential community in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. If you have persuasive sales and marketing skills, excellent communication and negotiating abilities, and are customer service oriented, this may be the perfect role for you!
Our Leasing Specialists give the first impression of our communities to all prospective and current residents. Your smiling face and welcoming nature will make a lasting impact in helping people find the perfect home by demonstrating unparalleled commitment to customer service.
Salary range $16 to $18 and hour plus commissions and bonus.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Connect with prospective residents through phone calls, appointments, and follow-up communications.
- Show off our community by walking around the property with prospective residents and delivering a persuasive sales pitch about the benefits of living in an LV apartment home.
- Manage the leasing process by guiding new residents through each step, completing, and verifying all lease applications and sharing results with applicants.
- Keep accurate records of prospective and current residents, as well as rent and inventory.
- Handle transactions like accepting rent and deposits and inspecting move-ins and move-outs.
- Collaborate with talented teammates to identify and solve any apartment issues that arise.
- Plan fun activities that help build a strong sense of belonging among residents.
WHAT YOU WILL GET:
- Starting salary range $16.00 to $18.00 an hour based on experience.
- Potential annual commissions and bonus earnings more than $5,000

WHAT YOU NEED:
- Knowledge of computer programs including word processing, excel, calendar management, software/database, and social media.
- Two or more years related sales experience.
- Strong Customer Service Skills required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Available to work a flexible schedule, weekends are required.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Previous experience in Apartment Leasing/Hospitality/Food Service/Retail a plus
