The mission is to provide comprehensive services in a warm, inviting and innovative office environment. We are currently searching for an aesthetician to be responsible for providing skin care services to patients such as chemical peels, HydraFacial, hair removal, laser resurfacing, tattoo removal, microneedling, product recommendation and more. The position will also involve marketing to obtain new clients, selling products, and generating ideas for office promotions.

Description

Duties and responsibilities:

• Provide aesthetic treatments to patients. May include: Laser, facials, microneedling, etc.
• Communicate with physicians, and nurse practitioners about treatments when necessary
• Take before and after photographs
• Obtain treatment consent forms signed by patients
• Create medical charts on each treatment
• Communicate with patients via phone, email, and KLARA
• Attend staff and departmental meetings
• Attend trainings
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment room
• Maintain supply and inventory needs
• Recommend and sell retail skincare products
• Adequate training on all procedures

Position Requirements

• Current aesthetician license with the State of Alabama
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a med spa or medical setting
• Extensive laser proficiency and knowledge preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and complete tasks with a sense of urgency
• Experience working as part of a team
• Proven track record on sales of products and retention/growth of clients
• Expertise in retail medical grade skincare products
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift 50 pounds
• Willing to travel between 2 office locations: Homewood and 280
