What does a Pinnacle Home Health LPN do?

As a Home Health Nurse for Pinnacle Home Care, you will travel to a patient’s home to administer services and provide a variety of tasks during patient visits depending on the specific plan of care and type of patient. Some tasks include:

  • Providing skilled nursing care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Perform selected skilled actions in the provision of curative, rehabilitative, palliative, or preventative nursing care.
  • Responsible and accountable for making decisions that are based on the individual’s nursing experience and educational preparation.
  • Timely completion of patient documentation

Qualifications:

  • Current State LPN or LVN License
  • IV Certification
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.
  • Has one (1) year of nursing experience. Community/home health or medical/surgical experience is preferred.
  • Possess and maintain valid CPR certification.
  • Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.
  • Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
  • Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured per the organization's requirements.
