Licensed Veterinary Technician Job at Pacific Animal Eye Care
Pacific Animal Eye Care provides state-of-the-art medical and surgical treatment for eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, eyelid abnormalities, and complicated corneal ulcers. Although dogs and cats make up most of our case load, we also see exotic species on occasion.
You would be working side-by-side with a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist as an integral part of the medical team. Training in ophthalmology conditions, medications and procedures will be provided to enable you to confidently provide outstanding patient care and effectively educate clients.
We are looking for animal lovers with outstanding people skills. Ideal candidates are highly motivated, detail-oriented, self-starters with a passion for learning.
We are a small, family-run business with an excellent work environment. Your primary responsibilities would be assisting with office visits and surgical procedures but help with client services and keeping the clinic nice and clean is also part of the job. Competency in general technical skills such as venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia induction/monitoring/recovery preferred.
Hours negotiable, compensation dependent on experience level.
Previous experience is preferred but not required.
