Elite Amenities
Our team is gearing up for the summer season! Under general supervision, the purpose of the position is to ensure the safety of guests and the facility. Employees in this classification perform at entry staff level and are responsible for monitoring various swimming activities as well as assisting with special activities.

- Jacksonville
- Beach/Atlantic
- St. Johns Town Center
- Nassau County
- Duval
- Clay
- Fleming Island
- 210 & St Johns County
- St. Augustine
- Orlando, FL
Responsibilities:
- Maintains constant surveillance of the pool area.
- Knows/reviews all emergency procedures and responds to emergency situations immediately in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Completes related reports as required.
- Maintains effective relationships with the members, participants and other staff.
- Knows, understands, and consistently applies safety rules, policies and guidelines for the pool and aquatic area.
- Maintains accurate records as required.
- Performs equipment checks and ensures appropriate equipment is available as needed.
- Checks the pool for hazardous conditions when arriving.
- Performs chemical testing at appropriate times of the day, as required, and takes appropriate action.
- Attends all staff meetings and training as required.

Qualifications:
- Emotional Maturity: Accurately assesses personal feelings, strengths, and limitation and how they impact relationships
- Functional Expertise: Has the function and technical knowledge and skills required to perform well; uses best practices and demonstrates up-to-dates knowledge and skill in technology.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Certifications: Lifeguarding Certification, for the lifeguarding roles, Swim Instructor, for swim instructor roles.
- Ability to maintain certification-level of physical and mental readiness.
- Ability to pass lifeguard water test.
- Must be able to remain alert.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Adequate ability to hear noises and distinguish distress signals.
- Ability to continuously scan all areas of the pool with clear vision.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks necessary for a water rescue.
- Ability to communicate verbally, including projecting voice across distance in normal and loud situations.
Compensation:
- 13.00 - 25.00 hourly
