Job Description

Moody Law is a plaintiff personal injury law firm, with offices in Lakeland, Tampa, and Bartow, Florida, with over 30 years of experience. Moody Law represents clients who are injured by the negligence of others. Moody Law is seeking additional paralegal services to assist with the firm’s everyday business and with obtaining the best possible outcome for our clients.

Responsibilities

o Work Hours: Monday through Friday 8am until 5pm

o Public and client interaction with positive attitude at all times.

o Facilitate the client intake process, by answering the phones, and greeting clients upon arrival to the office.

o Manage a pre-suit and litigation caseload by preparing records and keeping contact with existing clients.

Requirements

o Undergraduate Degree or Certified Paralegal preferred, but not required.

o Prior Litigation Experience is required.

o Familiarity with Florida's Medical Malpractice Pre-suit requirements is preferred, but
not required.

o Technological savviness

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Paralegal: 3 years (Preferred)
