Branch Operations Associate I
Los Angeles Metropolitan Area (Hybrid, 40% On-site)
6-Month Contract: W2 Consultants Only

Seeking an experienced Branch Operations Associate to join our direct banking client located in Los Angeles, CA. This role is administrative in nature with added responsibilities supporting credit card payments and processing data entry. Ideal candidates must have good attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities:

• Manage lockbox, payments, fee/payment reversals and research, credit balance research, and refunds.
• Board consumer/commercial applications, credit card maintenance, and colleague commercial card portfolios.
• Access credit card software and other systems to perform following the functions: data entry, document verification, and client services.
• Communicate and collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the bank, vendors, and partners.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of VISA rules and regulations.
• Responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of credit cards through adherence to the bank's and department's policies and procedures.
• Follow specific written and/or verbal wire instructions, and complete repetitive steps while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and the integrity of the data.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in banking or related.
• The position requires the incumbent to be detail and process-oriented to work comfortably with numbers.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Must be able to prioritize work efficiently and act with a sense of urgency to meet daily deadlines.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external clients via phone to answer inquiries and explain high-risk conditions requiring their processing instructions and/or approval decisions.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Banking: 3 years (Preferred)
• lockbox: 1 year (Preferred)
