Balance Technology, Inc. is looking for a PRODUCTION MEASUREMENT AND TESTING TECHNICIAN, no prior experience required! A positive attitude and an eagerness to learn and grow will be attributes characterized by our ideal candidate! . As a Measurement and Testing technician with Balance Technology, some of your responsibilities will include:
- · Work with and maintain automation equipment and machining centers
- · Study part drawings to determine proper datums and proper areas for part correction
- · Setup balancers using hand tools and measurement tools I.e. Calipers, scales, and measuring tapes
- · Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, and coolant flow
- · Record serial number and relevant information for each workpiece
- · Verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications
- · Use overhead and gantry cranes to load pieces onto balancer or mill
- · Load and unload trucks using a forklift
We believe to be a successful Technician you will need the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent with a strong technical background.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely and correctly use a variety of hand power tools including drills, saws, grinders and sanders.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to efficiently plan and complete work tasks.
- Experience working with Continuous Improvement methods used in Lean Manufacturing Environments.
- Understanding of demands for high volume production environments required for automation equipment.

- Saturday Mornings (when necessary)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
