Staffmark in partnership with Kongsberg has immediate temp to hire Machine Operator positions available with a global automotive parts company!
Shift:
2nd Shift 2pm-10pm Monday thru Friday
3rd Shift 10pm-6am Monday thru Friday
Pay Rate:
$17.11-$18.82 per hour
This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with competitive hourly pay based on experience. and overtime opportunities
Previous machine operating experience 6 months minimal but ideally 1 year recent experience a must!
Automotive industry, braided cables, make the tubing and then the wires are braided onto the tube.
Pay close attention to detail, quality of the tubes coming out.
Highly detail oriented, monitoring the machines, documenting information on a paper sheet, ability to monitor multiple work stations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Select and wind wire to ensure availability as needed or scheduled.
- Select tube and wire for braider to meet schedule.
- Set up braiders per print, work instructions, and training.
- Inspect the hose and ensure it meets print, striving for nominal, and adjust machines as necessary.
- Perform and record all checks and fill out all required paperwork.
- Ensure that only quality product moves from the area.
- Follow all safety rules and keep equipment and machinery in the area clean.
- Continuously work towards reducing scrap and improving production and safety.
As a Machine Operator/Braider Operator, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and equipment while honing your mechanical aptitude and basic mathematical skills. Additionally, a basic familiarity with computers, the ability to read and follow written work instructions, and strong attention to detail are required for this role.
The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
