Full-Time, starting at $20.01/hour after Introductory Period, Accrue 2 weeks vacation in one year

4 hours paid at overtime rate every shift (meaning you average at least $23.34/hr for each shift) and $1.30/hr Shift Differential when on Night Shift

Salary Range: $57k to $80k

Shift: Straight night shifts and positions rotating between day and night shifts are available

All shifts are 12 hours (Start time is 6:00 or 7:00 AM/PM to 6:00 or 7:00AM/PM). Employees typically work between 36-60 hours per week, with additional overtime hours frequently available.

Position Summary:

This position requires the candidate to work as one member of a three-person crew on a paper slitting machine.

Paper Slitter Operator:

This position performs various duties to assist the Lead Operator in the set-up and operation of a paper slitting machine including: setting up paper slitter; labeling, marking, wrapping, and packaging finished cuts as per specifications; relocating incoming and outgoing rolls to and from the slitter; and other similar duties necessary to produce finished thermal paper rolls.

Qualifications:

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

High School Degree or equivalent

Experience with 12-hour shifts is a plus

Sometimes performs work in constricted spaces

Some manual lifting or moving of materials

Toleration of heavy industrial, high-speed machinery, odors, and dust.

Stand, walk in and around machinery and up and down stairs throughout 12-hour shift
