Provides provide maintenance assistance for all facilities. Plan, coordinate, conduct and document machine and equipment repair activities. Acts as back up to janitorial services.

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of industrial and
    material handling equipment repair experience.
  • Familiar with mechanical, electrical, and HVAC
  • Knowledge of machine and equipment repair policies
    and procedures. Familiar with preventive maintenance requirements and procedures.
  • Ability to read and write procedures and work instructions.
  • Familiar with federal, state and local building and safety ordinances, codes and regulations. Knowledge of facilities operations, including security and plant maintenance.
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to work long and /or irregular work hours in the event of an emergency.
  • Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Vision abilities required including close and distant vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust, focus and distinguish between colors.
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks and prioritize work
    assignments.
  • Must able to problem solve and work
    well under pressure.
  • Must be able to operate power and hand held tools.
  • Must be able to operate industrial lift truck.
  • Able to work outdoors in inclement weather
  • Must possess valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and
    driving record acceptable to organization’s insurance carrier
