Mail Clerk
What kind of person are we looking to hire?
Jackson-MacNichol dedicates its practice to fighting for benefits for American veterans. This position is 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Reliability and good attendance is required. We need an organized individual, a team player, and someone who can prioritize and complete tasks efficiently. If you are a reliable, outgoing, friendly, results-oriented, professional who is calm under pressure, good with deadlines, can keep a steady pace, and is up to a challenge, we urge you to apply.
There is a hIgh volume of paper and electronic mail that is processed at our office. You will also share coverage of the overflow calls from our receptionist. We are strict with our adherence to covid-19 protocols and each department is minimally staffed in-house to enable us to socially distance effectively. We hope to hire a person who thrives on a fast pace and can work quickly and effectively. This is a full-time position. Training will be provided.
Since 1991, our firm has focused the majority of its practice on veterans disability law. We fight to get justice for those who fought for us, and we do whatever it takes to see that they received the benefits to which they are entitled. We have also recently added estate planning to the services we provide, so the mail involves a variety of documents and time sensitive processing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 per hour
