General Description:
This position provides quality general administrative services and support to the Facility Manager and staff by managing an effective and efficient operations of the campus Facilities Department. This position provides administrative assistance to the Facility Manager, manage budget expenditures for the department, manage and create office files, and when necessary, provide instructions to technicians of work to be completed. Provide emergency response procedures, maintain work order records, manage department community service program, procurement operations and department financial management.This is an entry to mid-level position.
Duties and Tasks:

Duties and Tasks:
- Process/coordinate/schedule work requests and daily work orders.
- Prepare/process procurement documents including purchase orders for distribution and approval.
- Manage budget expenditures and reconcile credit card account.
- Maintain an effective and prompt communications system with all internal and external parties. Generate correspondence, maintain records, file and produce various reports.
- Maintain time and leave records. Provide exemplary customer service.
Required KSAs:
- Office experience and ability to prioritize work.
- Strong organizational, administrative and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good telephone etiquette.
- Excellent computer skill in Microsoft Office suite.
- High initiative, positive attitude and detail oriented.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School graduate or GED.
- Some office experience with procedures, computer skills and operation of office machines.
- Valid drivers license and good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some experience in computer-based work order systems.
- Some experience in a higher education facilities maintenance setting.
