Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support of plant equipment and systems, including steam boilers, cooling tower, air compressors/blowers, air pollution control systems, wastewater treatment, and other mechanical and process-related equipment/systems
- Design and fully execute any required replacement, improvement, and expansion type projects, managing all such capital projects within budget and schedule expectations, as needed for all plant operations
- Manage and coordinate outside contractors when they are working on processing plant equipment
- Environmental/Health/Safety - ensure OSHA and other regulations are adhered to and enforced
- Work with existing computerized maintenance management system (eMaint)
- Support, improve and troubleshoot all equipment elements of the plant processing systems
- Educate plant personnel on all new, or modified equipment/systems
- BS degree in Chemical, Mechanical or related Engineering from accredited college or university
- 5-10 years of experience in managing capital projects in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of boilers, air compressors, instrumentation and electrical systems, fluid systems, heat transfer design and analysis, manufacturing systems and batch processing
- US Citizen
