Overview:
The wage range for this position is $62,000-$72,000 annually. This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, such as differences in skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. This wage range has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with where the position may be filled. At Wheels Up, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Your placement within the wage range is primarily based on your qualifications and experience.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. Wheels Up also offers a full range of healthcare (medical, dental, vision, mental health), a generous 401k plan, financial, and other benefits, including pet, life and disability insurance and paid time off. On January 1 of each year, employees with be provided with 40 hours of PTO that can be used during the calendar year. In addition, employees will accrue additional PTO (2 Hours Per Week) up to a max of 136 hours.

Wheels Up is looking for a world-class Maintenance Planner to join our team of dedicated and passionate professionals, fueled by the most powerful brand in private aviation, as we continue our mission of democratizing the private aviation space through cutting-edge technology and innovative product and service offerings.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, scheduling and coordination of aircraft scheduled maintenance activities within the 145 Maintenance Hangar. Ability to plan and schedule lines of aircraft maintenance based on available manpower and resources. Supporting the operation with parts pre-orders, daily flow, and tool procurement, as needed. The goal of this position is to return aircraft to service as efficiently as possible.
- Coordinate maintenance events to ensure parts, tooling and manpower are available for the work to be accomplished.
- Develop, monitor, and revise as necessary a plan and schedule to notify the appropriate departments and senior management of the maintenance plan.
- Work closely with MRO Project Manager to ensure work packages fit the goals of the MRO.
- Hold weekly meetings within Maintenance Department to ensure work is being accomplished in a timely manner and discuss upcoming schedule.
- Coordinate with 135 Manager of Planning to develop short- and long-term aircraft maintenance plans to meet MRO financial goals.
- Coordinate and manage all retail maintenance events into the maintenance plan provided by the 135 Maintenance Planner for the MRO.
- Build maintenance events in Corridor that ensure the work order created is accurate and includes all required tasks for the project to meet inspection program requirements.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience, required.
- 5+ years' experience in aviation maintenance, or related field.
- Experience with Maintenance Programs, Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
- Strong computer skills required.
- Airframe and Powerplant License preferred.
- CAMP Maintenance Tracking System knowledge preferred.
- Corridor Maintenance Program system knowledge preferred.
