What you will be doing

• Scheduling, training and coaching Maintenance and Grounds keeping Team
• Organizing repairs (including carpet cleans etc.), routine room maintenance, installations, deep cleans and/or renovations
• Ordering supplies and equipment
• Overseeing and maintaining HVAC equipment
• Coordinating with contractors and suppliers from all different fields
• Ultimately responsible for the care and condition of all property and assets
• Continually work in save costs (including labour)and efficiencies

The ideal candidate for this position

• Experience in a maintenance/resort department required
• Strong familiarity with pools, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. A trade ticket will be considered a definite asset
• In-depth knowledge about health & safety
• Problem solving attitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, as well as Internet systems
• Must be a self-starter with demonstrated leadership ability.
• Professional, well organized, with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution Abilities
• Strong Interpersonal skills required.
• Must be flexible to work as business levels dictate, including evenings, weekends and rare overnight shifts as required.
